   Hi,

   I’m a student of the HND Creative Industries: Television at Jewel and Esk College.
   I’m working on a documentary project about Health and Well being and I would like to talk about alcohol related problems. I would like to include in my documentary an interview to a person who works in the field. Therefore I’m asking if you or anyone else working in this sector would be available for the interview. The interview will be based on simple questions about causes, consequences and possible solutions of the alcohol related problems and it will take roughly one hour to shoot it.
   This is a general idea of how the documentary will look like:

   The objective of this documentary is to examine the alchol consumption causes and effects and the possible solutions.
   The film will be objective and a someone working in the field will be interviewed in order to give the audience reliable data about the issue .
   However people involved in the consuption of alchol will represent themselves.
   The initial focus of the film will be on documenting what there is behind the consuption of alchol.
   Early in the documentary viewers will get to see introductory segments. These segments will be mixed in with interviews and footage relating to the alchol consumption.
   The documentary will speak about the very different way of drinking and then compare and contrast the social worker/doctor’ s opinions and the consumers ones, expecially those of the youngers, highlighting the rising consumption among very young people.
   Beside examining the issue of the alchol, the secondary but perhaps more important focus of this film will be on the measures taken to prevent harm and risky behaviours.

   I would need to shoot the interview in January sometimes after the Christmas break, but I’ ve been asked by my teacher to hand in all the planning documents within the 15th of December. Therefore can you please let me know if there’s anyone available to help me with my project as soon as possible.

   Hi Tatiana

   Thanks for getting in touch. Although we are pleased to offer the West End Alcoholics Anonymous group a home, the group’s activity is very much separate from the church so any request would be best directed to them.
